~Yesterday I was offered a summer student job and I accepted. I am so thrilled about this opportunity to experience real world work. I'm always nervous to start a new job, but I love it once I get into a rhythm and learn new things. Also I've been having a lovely time with my mother buying trench coats, bridesmaid shoes, eating soup, walking and studying (as always). I head back to the prairies in four days!

Thanks so much. The wood grain is supposed to imitate a birdhouse. I'm not sure if it achieves that effect, but I like it too!
The shoes kind of look uncomfortable but they're not once your feet get used to them. I think that goes for a lot of summer sandals.
